This pattern was inspired by a talented fellow FIT alumni named Maria Riera, who's work I saw in the halls as a mid semester display back in 2021. The work was coffee stained, line drawn and was a rug based textile design called Cupuacu. To me that was one of the coolest designs when passing through that department, with projects hanging on the wall.

This design for Creative Home Ideas wasn't commercial, mainly a test-run, so I thought Maria's design would look amazing on a shower liner, so I took one of her leaf patterns and made that the focus, twisting and turning it to a form that I wanted. To be honest, even her coffee stained design would look sexy on a shower liner.

Here's a link to her portfolio

This Design was inspired by the idea of a person who wants character in their shower liner but not too much, nothing that takes away from the overall look of their bathroom.
They want green, something representative of nature, but nothing too crowded in design. This sleek and minimalist packaging as well as lining design is for that person who wants something more on the subtle side.
